What Does God Really Want?

Martha and Mary. Close friends of Jesus. One sister was a doer and one a worshipper. Yet, he loved them both. Have you ever, like Martha, compared what you do for the Lord with what others are doing? Do you wear yourself out serving on committees, teaching, volunteering. Have you had to skipped worship because you were doing work at the church, like setting up for a program? Does the church you attend constantly ask for more offering, more giving or make you feel guilty that you don't do enough? Have you ever just quit going to church because you felt you couldn't keep up? Is this what the Lord wants...more money, more of your time and talents, you over looking your other responsibilities, your feeling guilty that you should be doing more? What does the Lord really want for you?
"He has told you, O man, what is good,
and what the Lord really wants from you:
He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful,
and to live obediently before your God." Micah 6:8
How well are you doing these things?
